The Road to Cal High...

A few weeks ago, we as iQuest students were asked to pick a California High School teacher as our second mentor. Two of my favorite teachers unfortunately left the school last year, so I had to find someone else that could maybe help me out. I mentioned a few blogs ago that my choir teacher left last year, and that I would have to go through senior year with a new choir teacher. Taking that into consideration, I decided to ask my new choir teacher, Mr. Patton, to be my mentor. I felt that it would be a great way to get to know him and to let him know what I am doing in iQuest. When I asked him, he was very nice and willing to be my mentor. It's so awesome that he agreed to do it since this has so much to do with music. I have set up a meeting to speak with him this week about everything I have done and will be doing. More to come next time on how our meeting goes!
